I contracted with Jay and Eco Metal for decommissioning a 95,000 square foot warehouse that had several kilometers of conveyor, electrical and racking. The job had to be completed in 8 weeks to include removal of all data cabling.

My compliments to your staff! Last Friday your crew of Richard and Shane - under John's supervision -- removed an old cast iron boiler and did a great job. They worked systematically and stayed calm when facing surprises and an unco-operative, 40+ year old boiler. They used their knowledge and experience to solve problems and worked well together as a team. Shane especially was meticulous at the end and ensured the entire area was free of dust and debris by going over every foot of the floor with a shopvac. I have never seen that room so clean in over 20 years! Thank you.

Hello, I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the excellent work your team did in removing the oil tank at my home. Not only were you able to accommodate a short notice request to do the work, your guys came on time (early even!) and got straight to work. When I asked what happens to the left over fuel, I was told it was recycled and reused. Glad to hear that! They left the work site tidy and were very friendly and professional. Hi Jay: Just wanted to comment on the terrific job that Justin and his team did at our house on Friday, November 11, 2011. From the time they arrived until they left just over an hour later they were extremely professional and courteous. They drained the remaining oil from the tank, cut and sealed all external and internal pipes and removed the oil tank from the basement with absolutely no mess. It was really something to watch them complete the job. Again please pass on our thanks to them on a fantastic job....one that we were both dreading having to have done.

Jay - I have decided to go with a company from Kingston as well as an environmental consulting firm there as well. I was most impressed with your presentation but I feel it is easier for all involved: family, lawyer, agents etc. if I keep it all in the area. The quotes were similar and the explanations excellent. I would like to recommend Jay and the team from Eco Metal Recycling to anyone who is in need of the removal of asbestos and/or an old boiler from their Toronto home. Jay is a pleasure to deal with and they left the house spotless after the job was done. As an individual with NO experience in this area, I felt that Jay was giving me the facts and I immediately had the sense that he was a professional in his field. I have two small children so the word "asbestos" can be scary! I was at ease, never worried that I was getting less than an excellent company to do the work. You could not ask for a better team! Jay and his crew were at our residence within 3.5 hours of calling them and everything was removed and gone 1.5 hours later. They removed an exterior oil tank and interior oil tank as well as the furnace. The service we received was professional and exceptional; done for a reasonable price. The entire team was prompt and respectful; they left no mess behind, it was as if they were never there minus the missing furnace!

I have never seen such an awesome display of work before in my life.. it was like watching two doctors perform surgery... I am a carpenter by trade and I thought I was the most efficient worker around. Jay came in, put down the tarp or Blanket thing? Justin walks in behind them and boom... these guys are like very so carefully disconnecting this oil tank like doctors... talk about working together... no more them 15 minutes they had the oil tank sitting at the bottom of the stairs ready to take out! I was in awe. Anyways... outstanding work and thanks so much. I wish had another one in my house just to watch these two young guys do it again. Thanks ECO!

Your company excellent from the get go and I knew you guys were the team to use even after searching around for a few other quotes. The other companies I spoke with just didn't seem as on the ball; As for the oil tank removal from our home in Oakville ... Awesome job! I did not realize the job would be completed so quickly. I thought it would take a half day or so. Great work, the tank came up those old stairs and out the door in 1 piece. I was happy because I didn't want you guys to have to cut the tank into pieces to remove it.
